Rare conandrob240 Posted November 17, 2014 Author #76 Share Posted November 17, 2014 Just an update on this. Sister insisted on using her debit card. NCL told her upon check-in that they hold $500 on it and that they'd let her know if she neared exceeding it and then take $500 additional hold. As everyone mentioned, she had a hell of a time with her bank getting the unused $ back to the checking account. They held it for a solid week after travel. Sigh. I told her repeatedly not to use it but I can only do so much.

At least you tried. Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk Edited November 17, 2014 by maywell
BadKitteh Posted November 18, 2014 #78 Share Posted November 18, 2014 When we took our honeymoon cruise, I gave them $300 in cash at check in. When the balance got low, we would get a warning on our tv and I would go add more cash. I was never forced to put down $100 per day per person Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
