when do you earn your VIFP points?

Just wondering if my friends sailing with us will get Gold privileges on this cruise or the next one? They will hit 24 days on our Breeze sailing.

If they are at 24 days after the cruise, they will not get gold until their next cruise. If you hit the milestone during the cruise, you can board with the new benefits. Since they will hit 24 days, I would think the next cruise.

Gold is at 25, so only if they hit 25 on the cruise. Otherwise it will be their next one.

Past guest party and a pin. I think that is the only perk. The past guest party is not what it used to be either.

Keep in mind their VIFP status online will not change until they complete the cruise.

The drink can be picked up outside of the dinning room as well. I was on Splendor this year, and during brunch hours there was a bar cart setup outside the dinning room. I and others got their drink there with our coupon, and basically you can take it and drink it anywhere you want it.

We are cruising on the 15th and we are at 24 nights prior to departure. Does that mean we will automatically have gold status on this sailing?

Yes. Your cruise documents should say Gold. Your online status will be Red and will not change to Gold until after the cruise is completed.

I quit going years ago but went last year on Splendor and was surprised. It was a lot of fun. Went this year, again on Splendor, and the same old thing. Films of the fleet and lots of drinks. BUt, the place is packed. I guess Free is the perk.
