Regulars on here (especially you Cruisin' Linda!) will know about our house being up for sale as we need to move due to Hubbys health issues.

 

WELL - we have heard today that a couple interested in the house have today placed a 10% payment with completion planned for 16 December.

 

Can't believe it - now a hectic few weeks ahead with cruise 20-27 November then 4 day trip to Cologne for the Christmas Markets 2-6 December and then moving out just 9 days later.

 

Hoping to move close to Cartagena - so if anyone fancies a drink and natter (or tour of the sites) when you dock there anytime let me know.

Speaking of Cartegena, the Dream is supposed to be there today, but seems to be at sea on the way to Gibralter :confused: Very wet and windy in Cartegena though :(

That is excellent news, Campolady. My sister has just revealed that she and her husband are retiring out to near Torrevieja next year which I know is not too far from Cartegena. It's a lovely area with a very good climate I understand. :). Have you chosen your new home yet?

Not yet Jakanne1. We will hopefully be up there on 27 December and are booking into a hotel for a couple of weeks whilst we find a suitable 6 month let. We will use the 6 months to look for a permanent base.

That sounds like a very sensible plan to rent for six months while looking for your ideal new home. I hope you enjoy your search and find somewhere quickly.
