dirtworker Posted November 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2014 I saw one post from a passenger on the crossing now that the food was better than in past cruises. Its no secret that the food quality and preparation has been sliding downhill for many years......would love to hear from a few of you on the crossing, how the food compares to other RC cruises you have been on...thanks much
QuantumCruiserAu Posted November 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2014 apparently there is MANY complaints like previously free things are now being charges (like eggs benedict) and the menus are smaller and that some people are having problems with dynamic dining :( i personally have not had any issues with it
dirtworker Posted November 8, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted November 8, 2014 yes I too have heard those complaints....my question was more about the actual food itself and its preparation. For some years the food has not been much better in the dining room than what is served in the WJammer
sparkx Posted November 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2014 yes I too have heard those complaints....my question was more about the actual food itself and its preparation. For some years the food has not been much better in the dining room than what is served in the WJammer From when I was on board last weekend id say overall the food quality is much better ... But certainly for the first 2 nighter I was on I think they need to hone the new DD menus. I think they're still trialling everything (staff and food) so expect it to change somewhat and hopefully get even better in due course. Yorkvillain Posted November 9, 2014 #10 Share Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2042346 The topic of this thread is "food quality". The thread I attached is from someone that is actually on the ship right now and enjoying the cuisine. Will I like it? I'm not sure yet. I'll find out in February.
