The exact timing varies. As far as the beds, you can usually change this online at Carnival.com in the manage your booking section. You can also just ask the cabin steward to take care of it once you board the ship. It doesn't take long, and they will be glad to do it for you. cerebus76 Posted November 9, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Nothing unusual about the room not being assigned yet, and in my experience I wasn't able to change the bed to a king on the website until after the room was assigned.
