Celebrity Century 8/13 (Norway)

Just off the "Century" and very unhappy with the ship. It was not the "premium" cruise I had expected. Service and food was good but overall ship is very tired and in bad need of a makeover!.

 

General maintenance seems lacking. Lots of visible wear and tear (eg.torn seating in casual dining area). I hear the ship is going into dry dock next year. Lets hope the new "Century" is a big improvement.

 

I will travel with Celebrity again but not on this ship :mad:

Bummer for you, I guess. I haven't been on her since 1999

 

The ship is indeed going into drydock next year, for some fairly majour work, including balconization and the installation of an M-class type alternative formal restaurant.

 

Doubtless fittings, etc. will get revamped at the same time.
