When you see the message, "Online reservations are not available. Please check onboard." inside a redlined box below the particular thing we want to do, does this mean it is sold out already? Many thanks! Yes, most likely the online slots are sold out. They hold back a certain percentage of slots for onboard booking, so if you get to the Explorations desk early on boarding day, you've got the best chance to book.
