I have never written a review, but I am bored and still dreaming of my sunshiny warm 8 day cruise!

Day 1

It was myself, my 22 year old DD and 8 yr old DD. This was a girls trip...DH and DS stayed home, in snowy Michigan while Myself and my DD22 had slot certificates for the grand finale trny. Ok, so we flew in the day of the cruise we had a direct flight from Detroit to FLL 635am-935am. On time...once we landed we found our luggage and headed to the cab stand. It ended up being $110 with tip and stopping by a liquor store to grab two bottles of champagne along the way. The cab driver dropped us and luggage into chaos, I couldn't tell if ppl were coming or going at the luggage stand. Luggage was EVERYWHERE! I tipped one of the guys $20 and crossed my fingers our luggage would find its way onboard. Pretty smooth sailing after that. We are platinum , they escorted us to a room to wait for about 15 mins with empty water jugs (I noticed because I was dying of thirst and willing to even just suck on ice ) When we entered the room they took my boarding pass and told me to have a seat until my name was called , I was so confused by this....I couldn't understand why this all seemed so backwards.....I later found out that the cruise was FULL of plats and diamonds. Ok, so after about 15 mins they called us up to get our sail and sign and then said we were welcome to board, it was about 1230 by this time. Across the little sky bridge we went on right onboard! Im not sure if the breeze is actually Wider than other ships but it sure seemed like it. The atrium was so open and HUGE!

Once onboard we went straight to the cabin to drop off our carry ons~~~LOVED the openness and décor of the cabin halls, We were on LIDO inside cabin 10243 for 3 girls. First thing we realized when we walked into our cabin was that you Had to put your cabin key in the slot holder to make the lights come on!

I would love to be posting pictures for you all to see right now.....but My iPhone was stolen the day I got off the ship along with my pictures....so that is another reason for my review, I want to remember it !!!!!

Our roll call planned a pub crawl, $20 pp 70% for high hand, 30% for low hand...so we headed to the first bar, the casino bar!!! I loved the layout of the casino bar. For one, I liked the seating they had set up next to the bar, it was railed so that the casino patroness didn't spill over into the walkways and visa versa . I think about 100 ppl showed up for the pub crawl. Props to the ppl that organized it!!! It was really organized.....ok, so we payed our $20 and grabbed a drink, started mingling.... Okay, then we found out we needed to also check in at that time for the slot trny.....ran back to the cabin grabbed our certificates and headed back to the casino, signed in got our free Tshirts Lanyards and timeslot, mine was for 1015am the next day, DD was for 11am. Found out everyone was headed to the 2nd bar......but uh oh, forgot what bar that was supposed to be.....we were not the only ones, a few others were like IDK where we are supposed to be....so we headed to one of the rooms to find the list - okay we missed the 2nd bar.....so we headed to the 3rd which was the blue iguana tequila bar....First glimpse of the main pool! WOW!!! Love the layout!!! again, im not sure....but it seemed so wide !!!! Okay Long story short, neither of us won....ended up in bed by 7pm. so a pub crawl is not recommended the first day, especially if u don't eat first !

Day 2

Woke up, looked at my cell phone and it was 830!!! Ordered room service coffee and woke the girls ! TIme for the pool! My oldest is a smoker so she goes out for a cigarette and comes back and says Mom, its dark out ! OMG forgot to put cell phone on airplane mode! It was 330am! Okay back to bed !!!
