Tropicalmon Posted November 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2014 Hi, We are thinking of taking an 8 day Caribbean cruise on Quantum beginning of January. I cannot seem to find the answer to my question anywhere else, which is: When do you hit warm enough weather to sunbath and swim on Quantum as temps in New Jersey in January can be cold. Thanks! karmacats Posted November 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 25, 2014 Hi, We are thinking of taking an 8 day Caribbean cruise on Quantum beginning of January. I cannot seem to find the answer to my question anywhere else, which is: When do you hit warm enough weather to sunbath and swim on Quantum as temps in New Jersey in January can be cold. Thanks! Obviously it varies by year, but i cruised out of NY at the end of Nov during a cold spell (it was in the teens and 20s), and by the afternoon of the first sea day was on my balcony in jeans and a t-shirt, and the next morning (second sea day) it was warm enough for shorts and swimming. Also, keep in mind that Quantum has an all-ages indoor pool and hot tubs, an adults-only indoor pool and hot tubs, and an indoor sports plex, as well as all the shows, bars, casinos, etc. If you're looking at the Jan 3 cruise, Mamma Mia is also being offered the afternoon of the first sea day. So, there should be plenty to do even when it's cold!
