siestakeys04 Posted November 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2014 That is what the email states. I hope Carnival has something good up their sleeve for summer travel. Sent from my PantechP9070 using Tapatalk
Sailor's Momma Posted November 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2014 I guess I didn't get the email. What did it say? Worth waiting to book? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
poundcake09 Posted November 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2014 After reading the emails from some TA's on other sites the Cyber Monday Sale will consist of a 35hr sale. This would work like the others that offer Guarantee Cabin Selections. I'm not comfortable with Carnival selecting my cabins yet... But if the Right Deal Comes along... Who Knows! Good Luck and Happy Cruising!:D
MMastell Posted November 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2014 The cruise "sales" are starting to remind me of the furniture or mattress store that has a SALE, 365 days of the year. The sad part is that once in a while there is a good cruise sale but most of them are smoke and mirrors. Royal Caribbean is the worst. Their 50% off second passenger sale is a joke. They raise their prices on the first person and make you think you're getting a deal on the second. I was looking a Serenade of the Seas cruise the week before their last 50% off sale and the price was more expensive on the 50% off. Carnival does this too. The last 35 hour sale wasn't anything to make me jump in and book but they do have decent casino offers and some other sales that are worth looking at. Sadly it's only about 1 out of 7 that are worthwhile. They all are becoming "The Little Cruise Line That Cried Wolf". :) Take care, Mike

I guess what one can do is to pick a cruise on a particular ship and cabin and do a mock booking today and see what the all-in cost is, then when the sale starts, price it again and see what you get.;)
NoDayButToday Posted November 30, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2014 The last 35 hour sale was very good for us because we were willing to switch to guarantee. It was definitely the cheapest rate we have seen since we booked and our cruise went higher after it ended. That said, I am curious what the Cyber Monday sale will be, because the Black Friday one was not worth it enough for us to consider booking another cruise for now. Sailor's Momma Posted November 30, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 30, 2014 When does the sale start? Is it for 7 day cruises too? We are looking at the Eastern Caribbean out of Port Canaveral in March. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
