Jewel - DVD or VCR

Going on the Jewel in November. Are there DVD players or the old VCRs in the cabins? Want to bring some DVDs with me to watch but don't know if I need to bring my portable DVD player.

Every ship I've been on hasn't had VCRs or DVDs in regular stateroom cabins.

I bet they are in suites, but I wouldn't know which suite designation?

I would bring my portable DVD player and a power strip, as the Jewel has only one outlet. Keep in mind that European and Asian DVD players can't read American DVDs and vice a versa. The movie studios attempted to make it impossible with a copy guard and DVD standards for illegal copying of copyrighted produçt overseas to be sold in America.....

The Suites in the Jewel have DVD players in them. Penthouse and above I believe. Thus, the Mini-Suites do not. Bring the portable, but there are AV inputs on the televisions. In a standard inside/outside/balcony cabin there is a single outlet at the desk and another in the bathroom. A breaker based power strip is quite useful.
