As a seasoned Kosher cruiser, with NCL, you order at dinner, for the next days meals!, and give them your table #. Its under your # and NCL always assigns someone as well who will over see your orders and will make an appearance as often as possible! I also told them, that I liked mixed green salads and baked potatoes for dinner, so he brought them personally! The only thing I can't stress enough, is that you make sure the meals are added to your reservation, as we learned the hard way! If the chef gives you menus to order from, always get the main menu with the Compete inventory and order from that! Enjoy Freestyle!!!

We sailed the NCL Breakaway out of NYC in November. I'm assuming that the food is the same on the gem. (OUr 5th cruise, and yes, I do think that NCL does kosher food best.)

Sterling is a huge upgrade over Webermans. The food was really good, with rare exceptions, such as all the breakfast omelets which tasted frozen. Each dish is individually wrapped, which helps tremendously. We found that the webermans tv dinners had all the flavors melded together!

Send me your email and i'll send over a pdf of their menu items.

Some of our favorites.

mashed potatoes

steamed green beans

minted peas

stewed carrots

grilled vegetables

brisket

beef bourguinione

snapper francaise

Hi bubby Can you email me a pdf of the menu? my email is safdiej@gmail.com.

Thank you

Hello all, my daughter and I are cruising on NCL Getaway in December. I'm strict kosher (pas, cholov) and a vegetarian as well.

Does anyone have a recent menu from Sterling?

Also, what do you suggest for salads? Bubby6, I can bring my own peeler and knife on board?

Also, for the challah served in Shabbos. Should I bring my own?

Do I bring my Shabbos candles? I don't think I'm allowed to light on ship, correct?

And How did you go about getting in and out of your room on Shabbos?

Any tips and advice are greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!

Bonvoyage67
