OBC, Cruise Cash, Carnival gift card

Hi,

I have $100 obc from booking our cruise, $600 cruise cash and a $300 Carnival gift card.

I know I've seen the answer to my question on here but I can't find it.

What order does Carnival use the funds on my account?

I want to make sure I don't lose anything I have on my account so I could cash out some of the cruise cash before I apply the gift card, if Carnival uses all the cruise cash before they take anything from the gift card. Hope my question makes sense, thanks!

Is the gift card already applied to the account? I picked up a few, but plan to apply along the way in conjunction with use in the casino. I assume that would be the easiest way to make sure you don't use it first.......

Non-refundable OBC gets used first. Gift Cards are applied after you get on the ship. I would not apply the gift card until I was sure I had used the other OBC first. You can go to a kiosk or Guest Services and get a copy of your statement that will tell you how much OBC you have and how much of it is refundable.

If you have extra OBC you can go to the Casino and download the money to your players bank and cash it out. There are several threads on this board that discuss this option.

I have a question in this same vein:

Recently purchased a few Carnival e-gift cards through eBay. They emailed me the codes. Is there any way I can have them apply the gift cards as an OBC statement on my sign and sail account before my wife and I board, or do I have to march up to the Guest Services desk with codes in hand and have them do it there?

Only 493 days to go!!! :D

I did the same thing - I haven't done this yet, but when I called Carnival about something else I asked and was to that I could call them back with the info and they could do that over the phone prior to the cruise

Awesome - thanks!
