angled balcony on ncl getaway

I just wanted to post pictures to those interested in an angled balcony on the getaway, we had more leg room than the regular balcony. As you can see by the pics I was able to have a lounger ,2 chairs, and a table

Which cabin were you in if you don't mind me asking?

I was in cabin 12780 on the 12th floor fwd mid ship starboard side :)

I see you had a forward facing angle. I have one booked for the end of January. How was the wind while underway?

there was no issue with wind, there was more wind on the higher main decks 15-16-17. The wind was more of a warm breeze, nothing to worry about.

My husband and I will be in room 12780 coming up in February on the Getaway! We are so excited!

 

Can I ask a couple silly questions about the room?

1. Was the bed closest to the closet or balcony?

2. I've seen other pictures where the angeled balconies have looked down on the lifeboats or other ship equipment.. is this true with this room? If so, was it a bummer to see that instead of the water?

It's not silly questions at all. I had the same concern prior our trip about the view, and i'm happy to report that you will have no issues, you will have a great view in my opinion , no lifeboat blocking :)

As for the bed, it's closest to the balcony which some might say makes the room feel bigger as opposed to having it by the closet.

I posted 2 pics of the view, i noticed they are a bit dark but i hope it gives you an idea!

I would like to know this also. I have 12180 booked on the Breakaway which is a angle also.

The set up in the balcony was already there when we came into the room, which was a pleasant surprise :) On sea days (going towards our destination) the sun was beaming and it was great having the lounger there.
