Hi there!

This is my first post on Cruise Critic, but long time reader! :)

My husband and I will be in room 12780 coming up in February on the Getaway! We are so excited!

Can I ask a couple silly questions about the room?

1. Was the bed closest to the closet or balcony?

2. I've seen other pictures where the angeled balconies have looked down on the lifeboats or other ship equipment.. is this true with this room? If so, was it a bummer to see that instead of the water?

Thank you in advance for answering my silly questions! :)

It's not silly questions at all. I had the same concern prior our trip about the view, and i'm happy to report that you will have no issues, you will have a great view in my opinion , no lifeboat blocking :)

As for the bed, it's closest to the balcony which some might say makes the room feel bigger as opposed to having it by the closet.

I posted 2 pics of the view, i noticed they are a bit dark but i hope it gives you an idea!

Thanks for the photos! Just booked my first angled balcony today on Escape. Question about the lounger: was it there when you boarded or did you request / get it yourself?

I would like to know this also. I have 12180 booked on the Breakaway which is a angle also.

The set up in the balcony was already there when we came into the room, which was a pleasant surprise :) On sea days (going towards our destination) the sun was beaming and it was great having the lounger there.
