Excursions

HI...our nephew and fiance will be honeymooning on a Windstar Cruise. We'd like to give them an excursion of their choice as part of their wedding present. Can we prebook an excursion online prior to their departure? If so, how? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

Mikie, to the best of my knowledge, you cannot prebook excursions with Windstar yet.

 

Why don't you try calling Windstar, explaining the situation, and seeing if they'll mail you a copy of the excursions booklet (or maybe somebody on this board has one they can send you). Put the booklet and a check together and let your nephew choose the excursion that they really want. They can sign up as soon as they get onboard.

My husband and I will be on the Windstar in September- and we have just received our documents. I'm not sure if you could buy them excursions per se, but you can give them shipboard credit which they can use for excursions, bar credit, ship purchases, salon, spa or diving. There is an extra $5.00 handling fee if you purchase the credit within 5 days of sailing. Phone 1-800-541-1576, or fax 1800-207-3547. That is an extremely thoughtful gift. By the way, we'll be on the Windstar from Rome to Athens, 9/10............
