Puerta Vallarta question

How far is it from the cruise ship port to the malecon? Is it within walking distance or how much would a taxi cost?

The Malecon is not within walking distance from where the cruise ships arrive. A taxi should be about $5 or $6 and it will take 10-15 minutes depending on the traffic. There are also buses that pass right in front of the pier and cost 50 cents a person.
