Second seating Posted January 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Any recent passengers (last summer)? How often do they use the Water Sports Platform? We are booked in late June. Thanks, Second seating
stcruise Posted January 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2015 On our cruise in 2013, the platform was scheduled to be open at Mykonos and Bodrum. I was too busy on Mykonos to know whether it actually opened; however, at Bodrum the weather was extremely windy and rough so they did not open it. To be honest, this is a very interesting itinerary for the ports and I, personally, really didn't even think about the sports platform or trying to use it. My feeling is that the platform is much more important and usable on Caribbean cruises than on Med itineraries.
Mutyi Posted January 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2015 We took the reverse sailing in late September - early October, 2013. The sports deck was only down at Bodrum, where a strong current made for difficult swimming. I as told that they are unable to use the sports platform the great majority of the time in Mykonos because of the winds there.
