No.MDR is closed on all ships for lunch on embarcation day.

Two years ago on the Dream the MDR was open on embarkation day. As people were coming on, they were steering people into the MDR. We went to the Lido as usual and it was pretty dead.

Not sure why MDR was open. That is the first and only time we have seen it open on embarkation day.
