Nassau Port Terminal mobility options?

We are sailing DCL in March 2015 on a 4 night cruise. Our first stop is Nassau and my father has extremely limited mobility walking. It looks like there's a somewhat lengthy walk from the ships to Bay Street or other embarkation points for excursions.

Are there golf carts or pedicabs or wheelchairs or anything that's available to help him get off the cruise ship and on to a tour bus without requiring a lot of walking?

I'm asking because none of us has been to Nassau before on any cruise trips.

Thanks.
