Doober66 Posted January 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2015 Does anyone know what we should take with us cavetubing? We have reservations with Cavetubing.bz. Will our belongings be secure while we are on the river? Are there lockers?
krayzmelmel Posted January 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2015 Everything will be secure in the van, which is locked. No lockers anywhere so just take the minimum. A waterproof camera, shorts that you don't mind getting wet, and water shoes would be preferable(they have them for sale for $10 or to rent for $3). Lots of sunscreen and mosquito spray would help too. Cavetubing was definitely one of the highlights for my family so just sit back and enjoy ! mom_n_mi Posted January 6, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2015 We left our beach towel and change of clothes in the van. It is locked and safe. You can take a drink with you, but you need to carry it back out. We had a couple of bottles of water. You float for about 45 minutes, after a 30 minute walk. You don't want to carry a lot since you walk across the river 3 times. Good water shoes. Camera. But sunscreen and bug spray on in the parking lot.
