Jewel or Celebrity Solstice

Booked Solstice for an Alaskan cruise, but have a hold for the same cruise on Jewel. Opinions on which is the better choice? Solstice is Aqua class room, Jewel is balcony.

Will you have kids with you? We prefer Royal with kids and Celebrity without.

I like Royal, so I would tend to stick with them.

 

We just did Alaska last June on the Radiance (Jewel's sister) and had an absolutely amazing time.

We have sailed 3 Solstice Class ships and just LOVE them. Especially a Aqua Class cabin, haveing a wonderful breakfast and dinner in Blu each day was just wonderful and has spoiled us.

We have not sailed on the Jewel, but have sailed the Brilliance. Our next 2 cruises are on Brilliance and Solstice.

If I had to choose between the two it would be Solstice.
