kroeni Posted January 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2015 that may be a question from a beginner ;-) Which drinks are included in the full board rate? None? Soft drinks ? Coffee ? Water ? What's about afternoon tea ?

richleeds Posted January 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Coffee and tea (different flavours), orange juice at breakfast and water from the machine. But the coffee is out of a dispenser and if you like good coffee you will be disappointed. Same with the water, it's room temp and no ice available from the machine. Nikkipink Posted January 7, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Afternoon tea in the self service buffet or in the restaurant is included in your fare. In the buffet you can make your own coffee rather than drink the ready brewed coffee using the sachets and boiling water available. Tea and coffee and a kettle are also in cabins so you can always make your own drink there too.

richleeds Posted January 7, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 7, 2015 You can also order fresh coffee from room service if you don't want instant coffee. :) Won't this be the same as the coffee out of the buffet dispensers though or have we missed a trick on this one? Same with the water, it's room temp and no ice available from the machine. Never found this with the water. Water served in the dining room is not room temperature and if it was you can always ask for some ice.

I was talking about the dispensers, not the MDR where the waiters pour water from iced water jugs.

Sorry, I realise that now but the OP asked about free drinks. We tend to stick to the MDR if we can.

richleeds Posted January 9, 2015 #13 Share Posted January 9, 2015 Sorry, I realise that now but the OP asked about free drinks. We tend to stick to the MDR if we can. In the MDR we always order a large bottle of sparkling water alongside our wine order, doesn't cost much, is always served with ice and lemon and tastes much better than the over treated water from the jugs.
