San Pedro to LGB?

We are disembarking at San Pedro and will get a taxi to LGB to pick up a car rental. Are we better off, traffic wise, to leave at 8am, or 9am, or a little later? We have said we will pick up the car at 10am, but that should be flexible. We are then driving to Las Vegas. Thanks

So, on a Saturday, what time is better with the traffic? would 9am be good, or 9.30 for a taxi?

That would need a crystal ball.

Could be flowing at 9 and stopped at 9:30 or the opposite.

Then there's the problem of the truckers not having contracts currently. Causing slowdowns etc. Today they completely blocked one of the freeways leading into Long Beach this morning around 10:30. Usually an ok time to travel.

It is impossible to predict the traffic in the Los Angeles area. That is why I said 20 minutes to 45 minutes. If you leave the San Pedro pier at 0900 normally you should be able to get to the LGB airport easily by 1000.:)
