bambam Posted May 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2004 I've heard that parking can be a bear at South Beach - anyone have any tips or locations where we can park for a few hours...on a Saturday?? MizzouMary Posted August 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2004 I would like to know as well. We are thinking about either staying at a hotel at South Beach or visiting the area on the Sat. before our cruise. Do most of the hotels in that area charge for parking, if so, what is the average cost? Thanks!
srq2003 Posted August 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2004 your best bet for a few hours is get there EARLY and park in a metered spot on Washington. Ive always had luck with that. Otherwise there are parking garages around the area that arent too expensive, if your only going to be there a few hours either will work. Hotels are generally stingy about parking and reserve it only for guests!
bambam Posted August 27, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted August 27, 2004 Just wanted to let folks know that we had a rental car for two days and parked in a lot one day for $9.00, all day....and used the metered parking the next day, for about $4.00 worth of quarters. the time-value on the meters changes at 6:00pm. We parked near Lincoln Blvd, nice entrance to the beach from there... :D
