Wine: Carrying it on the Dawn Sunday

I am packing my wife's favorite wine (6 bottles) in a small carry-on suitcase onto the Dawn this Sunday.

I'm willing to pay the corkage fee up front.

Two questions:

Does anyone forsee any problems?

How (cash or credit card) and where on the pier would I pay for it?

I believe you just sign a slip and it hits your onboard account. Keep the slip if you want to bring a bottle to dinner they may ask to see it as others will smuggle an look to avoid the corkage.

Just wanted to thank you for all the great information you have provided me and all the other cruisers on these boards.

We won't be back in time from our cruise to wish you a "Great Cruise" on the Jewel so I'll tell you now...."Have a Great Cruise and thanks again!"
