On the getaway we watched the fireworks from cagneys 8th floor balcony. They had wicker sofa chairs that one of the employees told us to bring them closer to the balcony rail to be able to enjoy the show. It was great and we saw them front and center.i was pleasantly surprised that there were roughly 10-15 ppl there.

They are launched to the port side as everyone has stated. They are shot from an area just behind the control booth for Spice H2O so I imagine an aft facing balcony would have issues seeing them, especially if you're center or starboard.

Xmas week we just walked up to the deck above the pool and watched them then made out way to Spice.

we are also cruising feb 21st. we have a Guarantee room so unsure where we'll be but that 8th floor cagneys balcony sounds fun

Musclengrace, We are also sailing on Feb 21st and plan to watch the fireworks outside of Cagneys. We watched them last October from Spice and the crowds and music were much for my wife:eek: but I liked it;) Pink

I had a port side balcony. The fireworks are usually done off the port side but it depends on wind conditions, so it's not a definite. When I asked my cabin steward about the fireworks he said that if conditions were good I would be able to view them from my port balcony. So here is the outcome:

Cabin #9288 right near the aft elevators. This was the Breakaway, by the way, and not the Getaway. But I believe they are identical. They always played pranks on their teachers. LOL

LOL

We are on Deck 10, 10236 - the "aft" part of midships lol so I'm guessing, assuming the weather allows port side launching, we shoud be in a good spot!

Thanks
