davnjnet Posted May 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2004 We are booked for a cc cabin 2/28/05. This will be our second sailing on summit and would like to hear from anyone who has sailed the Summit in a cc cabin. Can anyone tell me about the special perks and how much you enjoyed them. Many thanks! davnjnet Rhapsody 2/99 Triumph 3/02 Summit 3/03 Navigator 3/
42trvl Posted May 23, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2004 As I answered to cheza on another thread, we enjoyed CC on our recent Summit cruise. It was also our first Celebrity cruise, so can't really compare to other staterooms, and people we know in non CC cabins were very happy also. We enjoyed having no lines at check in (in FLL we had to look and ask for separate entrance, however), nice mattress, choice of pillows, nicer towels, better hairdryer (although I always travel with my own anyway) and that's about it. By the time we were ready to tender there was no line anyway, so didn't need to use priority tickets, but those could come in handy. Same with disembarkation - we were in no rush, but priority would help get off quickly if one wanted. There are other benefits, but we did not need them on this cruise. The total price difference was relatively small, so we're glad we did CC and are booked in one again for upcoming Alaska cruise on Summit. Have fun!
