Does anyone know why the Magic's arrival times are so irratic? It says 8:00 on the schedule but I have seen it come in anywhere from 6 AM like today to almost 8. Most commonly, it seems to be around 7. I don't understand why it varies so muc. You could almost set your clock by the Ecstasy. We are sailing on Feb 8, but we could not get a room at the Harbor House like last time, but would still like to be on the pier to see her come in and dock, but we have no clue how early to be there with this one! lol

Magic has three different itineraries. Ecstasy always sailed to Mexico...

We do self assist debarking and sometimes we are out of Galveston by 8am. The earlier it gets in the better.

She just sailed off into some pretty heavy fog, looks like she left just in time. The fog looks like it is worse now. We will be on her in 2 weeks, hope we have better weather.

Nice, HUGH ship! Just cruised on royal carrie an on the Brillant of the seas. Saw our ship docked next to Freedom of the Seas and it dwarfed our ship!

Their times for arrival are based on the harbour master and pilot. If the master and pilot say it's your turn you go or it could be hours before they get back to you depending on harbour traffic. Times listed by carnival and others are estimated. The other factor is weather. Galveston can be extremely foggy creating delays.

Now she's docked again, we will get on her next Sunday 1-15.
