Carnival cruise port in Puerto Rico

I am trying to look for hotel for the night before a cruise. Is the cruise port in Puerto Rico in San Juan or Old San Juan?

The cruise port is in Old San Juan. You can't get much closer than the Sheraton Old San Juan. We walked over the morning of embarkation!

I'd like to know that also. The only port we saw on CCL was old SJU. We wondered if that was the only one

The Old San Juan port is the only one Carnival uses. I know Royal Caribbean uses the other port across the bay.

thank you I will check out the Sheraton as I probably have points :) ..... I read somewhere that cruises deporting from San Juan were at a different pier than those that stopped.
