gstratus Posted January 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2015 I heard you cannot use your own hair dryer. Is this true?
Crusin-Suzan Posted January 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2015 I have brought mine the last two sailings on Getaway but they have a nice hair dryer in the cabin. I am very fussy about hair dryers!
Demonyte Posted January 17, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2015 On some older ships too powerful hairdryers can cause power outages. I've been fine with all the hairdryers on different NCL ships, nothing like ones in most hotels etc.
Meekofigaro Posted January 17, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2015 I used my own and it tripped the circuit in the room . So I ended up,using the one in the room. It was a good hair dryer and I am picky! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
meltingmoments Posted January 17, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2015 I'm with the other posters who say the hairdryers on NCL are good.....I'm another fussy one about my hair! :o I hadn't ever heard that you COULDN'T use your own hairdryer, but it makes sense that powerful hairdryers could cause a circuit to trip! I don't bring my own purely because I can add another dress and a pair of shoes in it's place in my suitcase!! ;)
