sewgoddess Posted January 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Just wondering if anyone has used the Carnival shuttle to Galveston without arriving that day. ie., I'll be in Houston a couple days early and wanted to go back to the airport to take the Carnival shuttle. Does Carnival check names on flight schedules or can I just buy the ticket and go to the awaiting Carnival meeting spot? I've been checking shuttle services and they are almost $100 per person to go from hotel to Galveston. Carnival would be cheaper.
Branman Posted January 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2015 You can always just buy a ticket and show up at the airport. When you check in on Carnival's website, they will ask you what your incoming flight is, just put in some flight that arrives early in the morning when you expect to arrive. tncap Posted January 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) I flew down a couple of days early and rented a car then returned the vehicle and took the Carnival transfer down. They weren't terribly organized but I got on the ship. :) The Carnival transfer back to Hobby at the end of the cruise ran much smoother. Is it possible to purchase it from the ship to Hobby while onboard?

WindsorFred Posted January 22, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) Yes, that option is available. Thanks for the quick response. On the Carnival site it states that they have to be purchased up to 5 days before the cruise, per DW. Others have said that it can be done onboard.Just looking for confirmation.
