Cameo Factory

Does anyone know at which port the Cameo Factory is located? Any other details would be great, admission, rates, time needed to visit the factory, ect....

The Cameo factory is near Naples. The millennium tour descriptions said 'Time permitting, we will stop at a local Cameo factory'. They all went there first. I think the line must be on commission.

Yes the Cameo factory is outside of Naples nearer Pompei. We went there years ago as part of a land tour and I was very disappointed. You can pick up nice cameos all over Italy and probably at cheaper prices than those offered at the factory.

We also visited the cameo factory as it was included as part of the tour we took to Pompeii. It's interesting to see how they make the cameo's. No pressure to buy. Some like it and others thought it was a waste of time.

There is also a store in Sorrento across the street from the Imperial Tramontano where the man was making them and you could stop and watch and they were beautiful!
