St Peter Port, Channel Islands, Guernsey

Recommended Posts

As I local, I would suggest looking at the tourist board website which has a wealth of information, their website is http://www.visitguernsey.com. The local bus service providers website is http://www.buses.gg. There is a bus which travels along the whole coastline for GBP1, if you do not get off at any point. A one day pass is GBP 4.50 (I think). Personally I would try to visit Castle Cornet and Victor Hugo's house in St Peter Port, the Little Chapel and one of the occupation musems.

If you post your question on the Britain board, you may also receive responses from fellow cruisers who have visited. What kind of things are you interested in (sightseeing, watersports, guided walks, cycling etc etc)?

Be sure to get off on one of the early tenders, to ensure that you have sufficient time to visit all the places you wish to see.

Enjoy your time in Guernsey.
