ata1976 Posted August 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Question how do you get the best possible price?Booking far in advance?, Off season ? Any other suggestions? I would say both. We booked in Feb for our Oct cruise and prices have steadily went up. Only inside cabins are left.
Rare VernRDH Posted August 28, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2005 With RCCL's new pricing policy, there are no discounts if you book with a TA or online agency. Some may offer "perks" like free insurance or shore excursion, but the price is the price. The cheapest time seems to be late Nov. or early Dec. -at least from the research I have done. Booking in advance seems to get you at least locked into a price before it goes up. If it goes down, then you will get the amount refunded back to you. We always book at least a year in advance just because we can then save the money for the whole year and be paid off by the time we cruise. Hope this helps!!!
