Punta Sur

Do a lot of research, Punta Sur includes a variety of things to see and do. The lighthouse and area around it is a family favorite, (our kids are college age) you can't really access the water from there due to the rough terrain, however there are hammocks and it's beautiful. It's a distance from cruise terminals, best bet is to hire a private driver.

It's another 15 minutes from the lighthouse down to the "beach" area, not sure I would call it "toddler" friendly. There was a great deal of sea grass the day we were there which causes low visibility. Our daughter ended up with several pieces of coral or other sea anemone in her leg she received right off shore. Luckily we had a basic first aid kit and benedryl with us, the beach resort had nothing, she was fine until she got back on board. (another reason to purchase travel insurance)

Hope this is some help.
