Lsimon Posted February 22, 2015 #26 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Here is a photo from another thread posted on Cruise Critic that excellently shows why the bump out (a/k/a angle of the hump) cabins on S class have a larger veranda. Lsimon Posted February 22, 2015 #27 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Can someone tell me about the privacy issues on the S ships cabin larger balconies? Since they are slanted, I'm wondering how much privacy one has when sitting out on these balconies. Thanks The last couple of feet by the railing, especially at the deepest side of the veranda, might be easier to see from some cabins. So you might be more visible if you're standing right at the railing. But most of the sitting/lounging area would have as much privacy as any other veranda cabin. themutis Posted February 22, 2015 #28 Share Posted February 22, 2015 This is 2147 on Reflection - Not the biggest balcony(2149 was bigger), but still substantially bigger than the standard balcony 2147-3 by themutis, on Flickr 2147-2 by themutis, on Flickr 2147-1 by themutis, on Flickr
sunshade11 Posted February 22, 2015 #29 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Does anyone know if 9194 has a bigger balcony?
Rare keesar Posted February 22, 2015 #30 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Those on the slant have the best privacy. It is the others that need to not roam out n about in their skivvies  If you go out to the railing on these balconies and look toward the other cabins, you may see more than you care for. These cabins with the slant are deeper and do offer more shade. Boxerlover2 Posted February 22, 2015 #31 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Here are a few photos of the balcony we had on Equinox a couple of years ago and one with a view from the balcony. The cabin number is 2106. We loved the location with a few steps away from the pool, stairs, and elevators!
CruisenLexie Posted February 22, 2015 #32 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Here is a pic of 7217 on Eclipse. We have also been in 7219 which is larger. We liked the bed configuration better in 7217 (bed by the closet) so we are in that cabin this year. Hope the attached works, if not I'll try again. Boxerlover2 Posted February 22, 2015 #34 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Boxerlover2....how was that cabin for noise and foot traffic? Thanks! I heard some toilet flushing from the deck above but my DH didn't seem to notice it at all. I can't recall hearing foot traffic but the cabin stewards had a closet near by so we heard them in the morning (again, that didn't bother us). This was one of the best cabins we have had on Celebrity and would not hesitate to book it again. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
