Am I Overthinking this?

I didn't think fresh squeeze juice was included in the Refreshment package (soda package). I thought I would have to get the Replenish package to get that. Am I incorrect?

You are correct. The refreshment package is just soda, and the flavored water options with the freestyle machines.

Absolutely! You can factor in the price of the soda and say it's free on the Royal cruise as well.

I understand that many people are getting great prices with Royal but I don't think we had a significant savings as others have mentioned. But we definitely saved more than the cost of unlimited soda. I'm just hoping that our experience will be on par with our DCL cruise.

I hope it will be, too.

We've had 15 total nights on Disney Dream, and we've done a 7 night on Freedom and 5 night on Vision (DH and my honeymoon was on Radiance, but DS wasn't there so it's hard to count that) and we like Disney and Royal equally. But we can get 7 nights for a more decent price on Royal than we have yet found on Disney.

Actually, our flat out cheapest cruise was on Vision for 5 nights.

We would go on either Disney or Royal in a heartbeat. The ONLY thing that irks me about Royal is the smoking-in-the-casino issue, but that's an issue on all non-Disney cruises.

Royal is as bad as Disney is, naming things so closely. Refreshment vs Replenish, what were they thinking?

Okay. Thanks for clarifying. :)

We've only cruised with DCL 6 times and they've all been on the Fantasy and Dream (our next two cruises on DCL is on the Wonder so we're excited about that especially since we've never been to Alaska - definitely on my bucket list). They are definitely priced higher than our Allure cruise but I guess I was expecting more of a savings...As long as I book our DCL cruise at opening day and used onboard benefits, I was getting a good price. Just to compare...our last 7night cruise on Disney Fantasy in an Oceanview room was similar to the cost of our Allure cruise in a Balcony. It isn't the same category, but definitely not the price difference I was expecting. In reading some threads, people were saying it's double to cruise with Disney. Now, if I booked later than the opening day where some cruise jump in price by the hour, then I can understand the comparison.

I'm looking forward to the Allure cruise and I hope we enjoy it as much as our DCL cruises. The only thing I don't like is the casino...I know it's my choice to go or not, but I would sooner see that space for others things...I know, my thinking is not the norm....

Anyway, thanks for confirming the refreshment package. :)
