Are there any other ships that might be sailing from Miami in November 2016...any clues or info out there ?

 

Forgot that Navigator's Ta isn't until the 10th Nov arriving on the 23rd Nov.

That will be a bit late for us.

Have to wait and see what other options are available.

I'm sure they will still do short cruises from PE

Enchantment will be year round from Miami doing 3 and 4 night Bahamas, so now just got to wait for Nov 2016 to open up for booking.

Dave, I am passing my time while waiting for the new releases playing with your dog!:D I am still in hopes of a Pacific Coastal n the sprng that would work with my schedule, but those hopes are rapidly fading. Will probably have to stick with our booked Princess cruise.

It will be interesting to see if those sailings hold or if they do move Explorer for a full Alaska season.

I wonder if cancelling cruises is more complicated regionally? Maybe they face stronger consumer protection laws about cancellations in Australia. I would think a lot of space on those sailings was still held by agencies and groups.

Perhaps there is a big group booked in AU? but to not put N/A if they are going to cancel or change them just seems odd. We have had N/A many times before on booked cruises that had possible coming issues with the itinerary.

I am not getting my hopes up either. But there have been additions to Monterey's calendar for October 2016, where it shows Jewel stopping here. Wasn't there the other day. It also deleted a visit on April 15th by Star Gemini....need to research that.

 

I have one Celebrity trip in Europe for 10/15/2016 that is of interest, unless Jewel has something more interesting.

Radiance schedules for Alaska 2016 are showing now on Cruise Cal. Nothing on Explorer yet.

 

Explorer coming across could have PVSA issues, unless the refit will allow them to go under Lion's Gate bridge. I have a friend that lives in Vancouver that indicated ships have started/ended cruises in Victoria :confused: This is just giving me a headache.

I guess those Jewel bookings in October at Monterey would be projected to be Explorer per the information released by RCI in press release, but odd to not just book them as Explorer directly if this was the case.

Two of the Hawaii ports have updated their cruise schedules and while both show Radiance in both directions, neither show an Explorer call.

Yes, there have been cruises begin and end in Victoria. Too bad the Lion's Gate bridge didn't think about big cruise ships, when it was built.....

 

You can get a ferry from the US side in Washington State or a shuttle bus to and onto the Ferry from YVR to Victoria.

Then about 45?min to Victoria from the ferry terminal. Ferry ride is 1 1/2 hr and very nice scenery.

Fly, or rent a car but in the summer you then need to reserve the ferry as it is BUSY!

 

Maybe Explorer would come up the WEST COAST? and not go to Hawaii??? Or she is undecided at this time, as they still were showing her going to Singapore this AM?? We wait, as we are booked B2B on the two showing in April.

I looked and nothing is set for the Victoria port this year for a ship to be based there. Usually it is Seattle as the port and Jewel this year is in Seattle and next year probably Explorer.....as you have shown.

Radiance is always based in/out of Vancouver.
