It depends on the tour. Seems you need to read the cruise description as it should provide most of your answers and if you still have questions ask Celebrity or your TA. welly world Posted February 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2015 We have done the cruisetours twice, and they were some of the best parts of our trip! Hotels were top notch! Transportation was perfect (especially the train!) And the tour guides provide so much information--you could never learn as much as you do if you do it on your own. They say that it is a trip of a lifetime, but we are already planning our 3rd cruisetour!:p
gem lady Posted February 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2015 We did the tour starting in Fairbanks a few years ago. It was fabulous. I do not recall any meals being included. One of the most beautiful trips we have ever been on, but by no means a culinary experience. The food on the train was great. We had breakfast one morning and lunch the next. Celebrity provides a great trip. We would do it again!
NYAS Posted February 8, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2015 We also did the cruisetour in Alaska before our 2009 Alaskan cruise on the Millennium. It was wonderful, and we would not have felt that we really saw Alaska if we had only done the Seward-Vancouver cruise without first visiting Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali, and Fairbanks. The train trip was wonderful, the hotels were fine, and all our excursions were fabulous. Can't recall if the meals were included.
