tracyktn Posted February 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Great Off the Beaten Path Snorkel Tour in Curacao. We got to see an area in Curacao that few people get to experience. Our guide drove us down a private road that they have exclusive access to. The drive down to the beach was a rugged ride like a jeep safari, which was a bonus to us. We snorkeled at a black sand beach saw coral, fish and a sunken ship. [/img] [/img] [/img] Next we went to the blue room. We climbed some rocks and then jumped in (you can jump from a higher point on rocks or lower area if you prefer). We swam into this cave that let light in and made the water look such a beautiful blue…. Hence the blue room. [/img] [/img] Next we went to Boca Hulu a beautiful little beach where we found seashells and had a snack and cold drink. We had the whole beach to ourselves. They only take small number of people and it is for those with a sense of adventure. Marc tooks us to remote areas with few people which we really enjoyed. This is a personal unique tour and I am so glad we found Scubacao!
tracyktn Posted February 8, 2015 Author #2 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Here are more photos of our snorkel tour with Scubacao: Blue Room [/img] Boca Hulu Beach [/img] We had a great day. This is a tour for people who are a little more adventurous. They are a small outfit that offers a personal experience to off the beaten path areas. trenter33 Posted February 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2015 How many total people in the tour?
tracyktn Posted February 20, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Only 4 people it was great. The vehicle they use only holds 4 guests, but there are 2 guides so if you have a bigger group I think they could take you in 2 vehicles. The trucks are not top of line but they did the job. trenter33 Posted October 22, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 22, 2015 how hard is it getting out of the water at the blue room? My wife is worried she will have to climb up rock.
Annastasis Posted October 22, 2015 #9 Share Posted October 22, 2015 She will have to jump in and climb up rock. There are foot holds and the guys leading the tour will help. I just turned 60, and overweight and I was able to do it. The experience is NOT to be missed! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
