We have always stayed in Condado and are looking for something different. We are looking at the Dreams Inn, McLeary St. Ocean Park. Are there any good local restaurants within walking distance that can be recommended? Or anything else to do after an afternoon at the beach, which it looks like we can walk to close? Yes, there are many great places to eat in the area. I can't name any specific ones since I am a local, but there are two restaurants across the street from the Dream Inn. One is a Mexican restaurant and the other is a Spanish deli. One block south of your hotel, there's Loiza street. It used to be a low rent back street but right now it is transforming into an up and coming bohemian, hipster, trendy place with many new restaurants.
