spplus14 Posted February 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Hi, This is our first time to Fiji and we will be with Voyager of The Seas this coming March. For port of call Lautoka, does RCI provide free shuttle service to the city as in Noumea? If not, does anyone know any other tour company that cater 10 pax? I tried PVV and they have no availability on that day Cheers SPplus
J-D Posted February 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2015 One can walk from the port into Lautoka in about 15 minutes. John

J-D Posted February 18, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2015 To expand, if you walk inland from the water for perhaps 1/4 mile, you come to the main coastal road. Turn left and walk about a half mile along the road. You will pass an old sugar mill and then will reach the edge of the city. As I recall, there is no sidewalk for parts of the way, but it was generally an easy and flat walk. John
Oz_Steve Posted February 18, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Find yourself something to do in Lautoka, there really isn't much there.
marama Posted March 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Take a taxi to Lautoka market and stock up on the very useful shopping bags they sell made from recycled rice sacks (most are marked 'Fiji' or 'pacific'). If you get thirsty there is a small cafe at Morris Hedstrom supermarket in the town centre. Taxis are not expensive.
