Fujifilm XP70 Underwater Questions

We just purchased a Fujifilm Finepix XP70 over the weekend and are trying to set up and figure it out before our upcoming cruise. For those of you who have this camera, could you please help answer a couple of questions?

 

1. Taking Underwater Pics - Do you have any tips on taking good underwater pictures? Do you leave it on Auto, or what setting adjustments have you found work best for you?

 

2. Camera Case - If you purchased a camera that came with a bundle pack that has a small neoprene case that closes by pulling down the opening over the bottom, is there a trick to get the camera in and easily close the case? Didn't know if it just needs to stretch a little over time. Can you leave a strap on the camera and still get it to fit?

 

3. Any Other Tips/Suggestions - ???
