Anyone else cruising with us?

 

There are a few posting on Crusie Connections...but there doesn't seem to be anyone on here! Surprising, considering you can make a cup of tea or pour a large g&t between being able to read each message!

 

Need to contact my TA as we are supposed to be ending our cruise and flying back from New Orleans....anyone any idea what happens in this situation? Are we able to cancel or do we just have to accept a change of itinerary? Not bothered either way.......just feeling quite guilty about complaining about our weather.

Were on the cruise after yours, joining the Arcadia in New Orleans. Seeing that Carnival are transfering thier ship to Galveston, it seems very unlikley that we will be visiting New Orleans. A great pity as this was one of the reasons we booked the cruise!

 

As for alternatives, what about Fort Lauderdale or even Galvaston?

 

This will be our first P&O cruise after 4 with Princess.

We saw the Arcadia docked at one of the ports during our Scandanavia-Baltic cruise. I believe it was in Oslo. She's a beautiful ship. I'm sure you'll enjoy sailing on her. Bon voyage!

As you probaby know by now the Arcadia has been re-routed to Fort Lauderdale.

 

You can get a full refund if required or transfer to another sailing. I,myself although dissapointed at not going to New Orleans realise it's not possible now and will make the best of it.

It was the same one! We had a blast. Went on a lot of trips. The whale spotting in St Lucia was good except for it absolutely hammered it down with rain and we were soaked through, but it was Caribbean rain so it dosn't count. Did either of you go in the Casino? Which deck were you on?

Aruba, love that island, we have been ther 3 times now. The people are soooo friendly. Glad we are not going there this year as Mrs Deags loves the duty free shopping too much...:)

Hi Deagles, sorry to have posted same thing three times I am new to this (you'd never guess)

 

Obviously your wife is the intelligent one in the family (she spends the money) I seem to have spent so much time at work recently I have forgotten what shopping is.

 

Still I can make up for it on lthe cruise they will have shops where we stop
