Ropes course shoe question

Hey all, I'm sailing on the Getaway in just over 2 weeks and I've been searing the forums but not getting the exact info I need. I know that you need closed toed/closed heel shoes to do the ropes course. I'm wondering I anyone know if Keen shoes will be acceptable. They have closed toes and a heel strap in the back. Can I get away with them or do I really need to drag a pair of sneakers with me?

My son took these shoes, and was not allowed to wear them on the ropes course. They must be enclosed, both toe and heel.

You need tennis shoes. Any opening on the toe or heel and they will not let you on the ropes course.

I was able to get away with Vibram 5 fingers, and so was my DH. (those are the shoes with the toes) They are super light weight and double as water shoes, so we usually pack them instead of sneakers. YMMV

Haha! Yep. Thankfully we had brought his regular tennis shoes, too, or we would have (in his eyes) ruined his entire cruise. He spent hours on that course.
