Transfer booking from TA to Celebrity

Can anyone let me know if there is any benefit or negatives in transferring our booking from a TA to Celebrity? Our TA is not the best and we keep running into trouble with her.

You have more control over the booking and you can talk directly to Celebrity if there changes to be made . Price wise there is no advantage unless your TA is giving you some perks. To transfer to Celebrity your TA has to release the booking back to Celebrity . They might charge a cancellation fee if you do this .

Right now your TA owns the reservation, not you. Have you ask if they will transfer it? Is there a time limit? There is when transferring from the cruise line to the TA. Is the reservation part of a group the TA has put together?
