joan24 Posted April 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Has anyone purchased the Stockholm Card. If so, was it worth it? We'll only have about 5 hours to sightsee. What is the charge for the Vasa Museum and the folk museum next to it? Thanks for any information. Joan
canyousayvacation Posted April 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2004 The Stockholm Card is 260K. The entry to Vasa and Skansen are 70K each. I understand that a bus/subway ticket is 20K for one hour. Hope this helps! Andee Posted April 28, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2004 In 2003, the Stockholm card (good for museums and transportation) costs 220 kroner. The (amazing) Vasa Museum was 70 kroner; the Nordic Museum next door was 60 kroner, and the Skansen outdoor Museum was 60 kroner plkus either 5 kroner for the map or 30 kroner for the guidebook, which includes the map. With only five hours, you wouldn't be able to do all three. I'd recommend Vasa and the Nordic Museums; we thought both were excellent.
joan24 Posted April 28, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Thank you for the information. We'll be on the June 15 Regatta and we're really looking forward to it. We're staying in the Gamla Stan pre-cruise. I think that we'll probably just take a cab from the ship and get a Stockholm card if we ever have more time to use it.
