Mark Twaine Quote, can't find

Recommended Posts

Hope someone can help, I have been looking for the quote by Mark Twaine about regretting the things not done and setting sails to the wind.

I have read it a hundred times on this board, but now that I need it,,,I can't find it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do

than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.

I don't mean to correct you, as I think that is frowned upon on these boards, but I noticed between your two posts that you consistently spelled "Twain" as "Twaine" so I thought in case you were using the quote as part of a written thing (such as a greeting card or something) you might want the correct spelling.

You say potato, I say potato, you say Mark Twain, I say Samuel Clemens! ;)
