quasarhaze Posted February 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2015 If you're in an aft haven ph (or any outside-the-haven suites), do you need to actually trek to the haven area in order to meet the concierge or group for priority seating (illusionarium, shows, disembarkation, etc) or do you meet at the venue/location? I've read a ton of haven-centric reviews (thanks all who take the time!) but can't recall seeing anything concrete on this matter.
Annmeat Posted February 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2015 On our cruise the people from the aft all met with us at the Concierge desk for Illusionarium. We did not have or need any priority/ escorted debarkation at ports. It is so well run that we just went down the elevator and off the ship after meeting with our groups in the designated area when we had an NCL excursion. For st Maarten and Nassau we literally walked off the ship with zero escort and zero lines. On the last day we were escorted off . Annmeat Posted February 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Oops! For the regular theatre we just walked in and sat iin the designated area- and then moved to better seats! We did not do Legally Blonde. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

For the theater shows though, it was not necessary to meet there, just walk down to the left side of the theater to designated Haven seating, which as stated by the previous poster, was not that good. There was no need for priority disembarkation until the end of the cruise for us either.
quasarhaze Posted February 24, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Good info, thanks! I had heard that getting off the ship in ports wasn't bad at all unless there is a tender. My last ncl cruise was on the sky in 01 and that was a cluster, happy to hear that has improved.
PDIDDYwife Posted February 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) OP We have been on Getaway twice. Never a problem getting off the ship. We were dumbstruck! Our previous cruise had been on Freedoom of the Seas and it was HORRIBLE! we were in a suite and had the "priority" debarkation at the ports. What a crock. You will be pleasantly surprised. Our children were also amazed.... At the end of the cruise we had a really late flight, so the concierge took us down as late as possible. No wait then, either. Have fun!
