Miami Marriott airport - comments?

just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Marriott near the Miami airport, and if so, can you tell me if it is a nice place to stay? Thanks.

We are staying at the fairfield miami airport south. We hope it's alright. Free breakfast, good rate, and a free shuttle to the airport.

We are also booked at the Fairfield South. I understand that it is adjacent to the Marriott and the Courtyard, and we can use the rec facilities at the full-scale Marriott. I have read very mixed reviews on TripAdvisor.com. Does anyone out there have direct experience with any one of these three hotels? What about the surrounding area?

There's really nothing to walk to from any of the airport hotels. Personally I prefer the MIA airport Hilton, for an airport hotel it's quite nice... http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=MIAAHHH
